It is so debilitating to be in the cycle of bulimia, binging or compulsive overeating, and to experience the constant struggle with self judgment, guilt and shame that accompanies feeling so out of control. You have probably tried many times to stop the pattern.
What really helps is a multi-pronged approach that includes learning how to witness in the present moment the thoughts and emotions that trigger and accompany binges without reacting to them.
